Viraj Institute of Medical Science is seeking an Operation Theater Technician Faculty member to teach and train students in operation theatre technology at our Chhoti Pahari, Patna campus.

Key responsibilities

- Deliver theory classes and practical demonstrations in operation theatre technology.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials and practical exercises aligned with the course syllabus.
- Teach surgical instrument identification, preparation, handling and sterilisation principles.
- Train students in patient preparation and positioning, aseptic practices, infection prevention and operating room safety.
- Explain operation theatre equipment, routine safety checks, oxygen and suction systems, and maintenance documentation.
- Guide students in operation theatre procedures,



surgical team coordination and record keeping.
- Conduct assessments, evaluate practical skills, provide feedback and maintain academic records.
- Supervise practical sessions and promote safe handling of instruments and equipment.

Qualification

- Bachelor's degree required.

- Salary: ₹18,000–₹22,000 per month.
- Weekend availability required.
