Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Medical Coder with a strong Radiology coding background to join our team in Tirunelveli. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in radiology coding, medical terminology, and coding guidelines.

Key Responsibilities

- Perform accurate coding of Radiology medical records and procedures.
- Assign appropriate ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes based on clinical documentation.
- Review medical records and ensure coding accuracy and completeness.
- Follow applicable coding guidelines, compliance standards, and client requirements.
- Identify and resolve coding discrepancies and documentation-related issues.
- Maintain required productivity and quality standards.
- Coordinate with the quality/audit team when required.
- Stay updated with changes in coding guidelines and industry standards.

Requirements





- 4+ years of experience in Medical Coding.
- Strong Radiology coding experience/background is mandatory.
- Good knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CPT coding.
- Robust understanding of medical terminology and anatomy.
- Experience in reviewing and interpreting clinical documentation.
- Good communication and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and meet productivity and quality targets.
- Relevant degree in Life Sciences / Allied Health / Medical-related fields is preferred.
