The Senior Sales Manager role leads business development and technical sales activities for robotic poultry processing and automation equipment across India. Primarily based in Chennai, the position may alternatively be located in Mumbai, Pune, or Bangalore and combines customer acquisition, product promotion, sales management, and technical support throughout the equipment lifecycle. nnResponsibilities Develop recent business opportunities across India within the poultry processing industry nnPromote and sell robotic poultry deboning, processing, and automation machinery nnMeet poultry processors and food processing companies to understand their operational requirements nnCoordinate and schedule product demonstrations with customers nnPrepare and submit sales contracts for confirmed orders nnCoordinate sales activities with marketing programmes nnVisit existing and prospective customers to assess their needs and promote products and services nnAchieve assigned sales targets and expand the customer base nnSupport the installation, commissioning,



and testing of robotic poultry processing machinery nnProvide technical training and operational support to customers nnTroubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and automation-related issues nnCoordinate with the technical team to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction nnMaintain service reports and support preventive maintenance activities nnRequirements Bachelor of Engineering in Mechatronics Engineering, Robotics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electronics Engineering nn10 to 15 years of relevant experience nnExperience in technical sales, business development, or customer account management for industrial machinery or automation equipment nnAbility to support equipment installation, commissioning, testing, troubleshooting, and customer training nnAbout the company A Japanese company in the industrial machinery and engineering sector with operations in India.
