Engagement Type: Consultant (short/medium-term engagement, not a full time position)

Location: Bengaluru, with extensive travel within India as well as internationally to factory/plant locations

Availability: Immediate availability required; must be willing to travel to factory locations as needed

Role Description

The PLC & Edge Connectivity Consultant will focus on integrating shop-floor machines and control systems with our client's manufacturing operations management system through PLC programming, edge connectivity solutions, industrial communication protocols, and OT/IT integration.

With an in-house product development team and direct implementation support,



the client offers data collection, dashboards, and an intelligence layer powered by data science, vision AI, acoustic AI, and more.

Qualifications

- 3–7 years experience in industrial automation / OT connectivity
- Strong hands-on experience with multiple PLC brands (Siemens, Rockwell, Mitsubishi, Omron, Beckhoff preferred)
- Experience with Fanuc controllers
- Hands-on with Kepware / Litmus / similar edge platforms
- Solid knowledge of industrial protocols and bidirectional integration
- Demonstrated experience with OT / IT integration
- Immediately available to start, with willingness to travel to factory locations as required
