- Experience in Life Insurance / Life IT domain
- Provide production support for Mainframe applications
- Monitor and manage batch jobs using Control-M scheduler
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve production incidents within defined SLAs
- Perform job abends analysis and fix issues related to COBOL programs, JCL, and datasets
- Work on file handling and VSAM dataset issues (KSDS, ESDS, RRDS)
- Use Mainframe utilities (IDCAMS, SORT, IEBGENER, etc.) for data management and troubleshooting
- Perform code fixes, emergency patches, and minor enhancements when required
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (development, business, infra) for issue resolution
- Maintain proper incident documentation and root cause analysis (RCA)
- Support release and deployment activities
- Ensure compliance with audit and operational standards
- Good knowledge of:
- Batch processing and job flow
- Abend codes and debugging techniques
- File handling and dataset management

- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to work under pressure in critical production environments
- Positive communication and stakeholder coordination skills
