Position : Senior Compliance Accountant

Qualification : CA Inter

Experience : 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the logistics, freight forwarding, shipping, or trading industry.

Location : Calicut

Salary : 8 Lacs Responsibilities:

- Ensure timely compliance with statutory, regulatory, VAT, customs, and trade requirements across the GCC, China, and other operating countries.
- Maintain a compliance calendar, statutory documentation, and filing schedules while monitoring changes in laws and regulations.
- Coordinate with consultants, auditors, and government authorities and support internal/external audits.




- Review logistics jobs to ensure accurate revenue, billing, supplier costs, and operational expenses before job closure.
- Identify and investigate revenue leakage, billing omissions, duplicate costs, pricing deviations, and profitability gaps.
- Ensure proper documentation is maintained to prevent statutory claim rejections.
- Conduct periodic internal compliance reviews, report policy violations, and recommend corrective and preventive actions.
- Support import/export trading companies in meeting legal, customs, VAT, and regulatory requirements.
- Prepare monthly compliance reports, shipment-wise profitability analysis, and KPI reports for management and track and report compliance exceptions, policy deviations, revenue leakage, and profitability performance.
