Atherium Investment is looking for an Investment Strategy & Business Development Head to identify, evaluate and source long-term investment opportunities and businesses for our investment portfolio.

Role Overview

We are looking for a strategic, commercially driven professional who can identify, evaluate and develop high-potential businesses and investment opportunities for long-term growth and profitability.

The person will work directly with the investor/promoters to identify emerging sectors, new business models, acquisition opportunities, partnerships and expansion opportunities across India and international markets.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify high-growth and emerging industries with strong long-term potential.
- Source and evaluate new businesses, investment opportunities, acquisitions, JVs and strategic partnerships.
- Conduct market, competitor and commercial analysis to assess business viability.
- Develop investment proposals, business plans and market-entry strategies.
- Identify opportunities for business expansion and international market entry.
- Build relationships with business owners, entrepreneurs, industry leaders and potential partners.




- Monitor market trends and identify unique/underpenetrated opportunities before they become highly competitive.
- Support the execution and scaling of selected businesses.

Ideal Candidate

- 10+ years of experience in Business Strategy, Corporate Development, Investments, M&A;, Current Ventures, Business Development or Entrepreneurship.
- Strong understanding of multiple industries, business models and market trends.
- Proven ability to identify and develop new business/investment opportunities.
- Strong entrepreneurial mindset, networking and negotiation skills.
- Experience with investors, promoters, acquisitions, JVs or international business will be an advantage.
- Should be capable of independently answering: Where should we invest, why, and how can we build it into a profitable long-term business
