Solution Architect – SAS Fraud Management

Location: Remote or ODC Working Hours: UAE Standard Time (9 AM to 6 PM)

Role Overview: We are seeking an experienced Solution Architect with a strong background in SAS Fraud Management (SFM) to design and manage the architecture of various SFM features. This hands-on role involves configuring fraud rules, workflows, and UI elements, as well as tuning and enhancing the system. The ideal candidate will lead production rollouts, manage handovers to other teams, and provide technical consultancy to stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

- Design and architect SAS Fraud Management features, including rules, workflows, and UI configurations.
- Manage tuning and enhancement aspects of the SAS SFM system.
- Assist in and lead production rollouts and manage handovers to build and testing teams.
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions, aligning with functional/non-functional requirements, enterprise architecture standards, and the bank’s technology roadmap.
- Lead end-to-end solution design and implementation for channel-to-SAS SFM integration via approved middleware.
- Provide in-depth technical expertise in messaging and API-based integrations for accelerated SAS SFM implementation, including case management and reporting.
- Promote open standards and cost-effectiveness to support organizational goals.
- Evaluate architecture patterns and emerging trends to recommend best-fit solutions within the enterprise architecture governance framework.
- Assess and analyze the enterprise-wide impact of solutions.
- Provide technical consultancy to IT and business stakeholders on technology best practices and problem analysis.




- Maximize the reuse of existing technology platforms and integration capabilities.
- Ensure regulatory, audit, Risk & Compliance, and business continuity requirements are addressed in solution design and implementation.
- Evaluate third-party and vendor solutions for suitability within the bank’s ecosystem.
- Analyze and resolve technical, functional, performance, and security issues with robust and scalable solutions.
- Provide expertise in end-to-end connectivity, data flow analysis, and integration troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with delivery and support teams for effective knowledge transfer and to build a self-sustaining BAU support model.
- Drive accelerated delivery while balancing technical quality and business value.
- Manage and deliver multiple regulatory and enhancement initiatives concurrently in a high-pressure environment.

Mandatory Skills & Experience:

- Overall Experience: 10+ years.
- SAS SFM Solution Architect Experience: 5-6 years specifically in this role.
- Experience with Build Engineering in SAS Fraud Risk Solution: Minimum 5 years.
- Recent SAS SFM Experience: Must be within the last 2 years.

Top Skills:

- Excellent understanding of SAS Fraud Management and a desire to implement recent solutions.
- Technical proficiency in databases, scripting, and API/integration tools.
- Strong ability to work independently and within a team, capable of timely delivery, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Additional Experience:

- Experience implementing SAS Fraud Management solutions in multiple geographical regions.
- Proven ability in leading the build and operation of complex fraud technology systems.

Qualifications:

- Graduate engineering degree or equivalent qualification.
