About Us

India is projected to see significant growth in High Net Worth Individuals (HNIs) over the next 15 years. Currently, many HNIs lack dedicated, accountable wealth managers. Instead, they rely on distributors and advisors who offer opinions but don't necessarily own the outcome. We aim to fill this gap by acting as a dedicated manager, taking discretionary mandates and managing capital across various asset classes (equity, debt, PMS, AIF, alternatives) with a focus on achieving client goals. Our comprehensive tech stack, powered by AI and ML, enables a single manager to serve a larger client base efficiently, creating a competitive advantage through productivity.

The Role

As an SDE 2, you will own significant parts of our backend systems, including the data infrastructure for consolidating client wealth, analytics for goal tracking, the engine for translating goals into managed portfolios, and the APIs that support our client-facing applications and internal tools. You will take features from initial problem statements through design, implementation, testing, and deployment, operating with a high degree of autonomy and contributing to architectural decisions.

This is a full-stack backend role. You will primarily use Python for data, analytics, and ML components, and Go for high-throughput, concurrency-critical services. This level is ideal for engineers with a few years of production experience ready to take on greater scope.



You will continue to learn and grow with support from senior engineers while being trusted to deliver outcomes and elevate the team's technical standards.

What You'll Own

- End-to-end ownership of a service area, including ingestion connectors, the canonical portfolio model, analytics (allocation, exposure, concentration, returns), the goals/plan engine, or reporting. This includes design, implementation, rollout, and on-call responsibilities.
- Deconstruct ambiguous problems into actionable, shippable plans. This involves writing concise design documents, evaluating trade-offs with senior engineers, and structuring work into reviewable increments.
- Implement financial calculations with high precision, ensuring comprehensive test coverage and data lineage. Handle complex real-world edge cases (e.g., partial data, stale feeds, corporate actions, de-duplication) to ensure accuracy in client statements.
- Design and maintain robust APIs for client applications and the manager console, ensuring they are versioned, well-documented, and stable for consuming teams.
- Ensure the operational health of your services through effective metrics, logging, and alerting. Lead troubleshooting efforts for production issues.
- Contribute to code reviews, mentor junior engineers (SDE 1s) and interns, and actively improve the team's testing practices, tooling, and documentation.
- Collaborate with product, design, and compliance teams to translate business requirements into technical specifications and acceptance criteria, providing constructive feedback on proposed designs.

What We're Looking For




- 2-5 years of professional experience shipping and maintaining production software.
- Strong foundational knowledge in data structures, algorithms, API design, and databases, with the ability to apply these effectively under real-world deadlines.
- Hands-on production experience with Python and Go. We expect deep expertise in one language and working fluency in the other, with a solid desire to become proficient in both.
- Solid relational database skills, including schema design, query optimization, transaction management, and database migrations.
- A proven track record of owning features or services beyond initial development, including testing, deployment, production debugging, and ongoing maintenance.
- Attention to detail, a commitment to accuracy, and the ability to work with complex, real-world data.
- Clear written communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and the judgment to make independent decisions when appropriate.

Bonus Points
- Experience in fintech, payments, capital markets, or with data-integration / API-heavy systems.
- Familiarity with Account Aggregator, MF Central, demat/RTA data, or KYC processes.
- Experience with asynchronous processing, queue-based systems, event-driven architectures, or applied Machine Learning in production.
- Experience mentoring junior engineers or leading small feature teams.
- Contributions to open-source projects, personal side projects, or a background in competitive programming.
