IT Project Manager

Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to oversee the planning, management, and successful delivery of technology projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in project planning, team coordination, client management, timeline adherence, budget control, risk management, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage projects throughout their lifecycle: requirement gathering, development, testing, deployment, and final delivery.
- Define and document project scope, objectives, deliverables, timelines, and key milestones.
- Coordinate effectively with development, UI/UX design, QA, business analysis, and client teams.
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive project plans, schedules, progress trackers, and status reports.
- Monitor project progress, resource allocation, timelines, and budgets to ensure alignment with objectives.
- Proactively identify and resolve project risks, dependencies, issues, and bottlenecks.
- Facilitate project meetings, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Manage client communications, providing regular and transparent project updates.
- Ensure all project deliverables meet agreed-upon quality, scope, and timeline requirements.
- Coordinate User Acceptance Testing (UAT), deployment activities, production releases,



and post-launch support.
- Manage scope changes effectively, ensuring proper documentation and approval processes are followed.
- Foster clear and effective communication between technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Maintain all project documentation and ensure adherence to governance standards.

Required Skills and Experience
- 4–8 years of progressive experience in IT project management.
- Solid understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and software development processes.
- Proven experience with Agile/Scrum and/or Waterfall project management methodologies.
- Solid knowledge of project planning principles, risk management, resource management, and stakeholder management techniques.
- Demonstrated experience working collaboratively with software development teams.
- Good understanding of web and mobile application development principles.
- Proficiency with project management tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, ClickUp, Asana, or similar platforms.
- Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.

Education and Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or Scrum Master certification is considered an advantage.
