CONSTRUCTION DIRECTOR – INDIA (IDEC INDIA)

Role Overview: The organisation is seeking a Construction Director to lead and oversee medium-to-large scale industrial plant construction projects in India. This individual will represent the contractor’s perspective - managing full-cycle project execution from mobilisation through to delivery- and will act as the primary on-ground interface between the Indian project environment and the French HQ/regional leadership.

Key Candidate Attributes & Requirements:

- Native French speaker and French national- mandatory, non-negotiable.

- Deep cultural alignment with French professional values, including intuitive command of French unspoken communication norms, hierarchical sensitivities, and stakeholder management practices when engaging French principals.
10–15 years of professional experience in executing medium-to-large scale industrial plant or construction projects in India.
- Demonstrated track record specifically with French companies or within a French-contract workplace.

- Prior exposure to Design & Build (DB) delivery models.
