Location: Bangalore / Hyderabad (Hybrid) / PuneExperience: 5–10+ YearsRole: Individual ContributorAbout the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Pre-Silicon Software / Firmware Engineer to enable early software development and system bring-up on virtual platforms before silicon availability.You will work at the intersection of SoC architecture, firmware, BSP, device drivers, Embedded Linux and virtual platform modelling, helping platform and software teams validate boot flows, software workloads and hardware/software interactions well ahead of first silicon.This is an opportunity to work on next-generation AI infrastructure, SoC and high-speed connectivity platforms.Must-Have Skills5–10+ years of experience in embedded software, firmware or pre-silicon software development.Strong programming skills in C/C++.Hands-on experience with Embedded Linux.Strong experience in BSP and device-driver development.Firmware development and system bring-up experience.Understanding of PCIe / CXL and high-speed system connectivity.Positive understanding of SoC architecture.Experience working with Virtual Platforms / VDKs.What You Will DoSupport AI infrastructure system modelling by defining software-visible hardware behaviour and integrating virtual devices and system components.Develop BSP, low-level firmware and device drivers for pre-silicon platforms.Develop device initialization sequences and enable boot flows on virtual platforms / VDKs.Develop and validate software for PCIe, CXL, memory and other high-speed connectivity components.Execute and validate software workloads against Virtual Platforms / VDKs.Debug complex hardware/software interaction issues in collaboration with architecture and platform teams.Support software enablement and validation before physical silicon becomes available.Document issues,
