About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Sr. E&I; Engineer to lead the design and engineering of
electrical and instrumentation systems for turnkey water and utility projects. The role requires
strong expertise in system design, engineering documentation, and cross-functional
coordination, along with technical leadership.
Key Responsibilities
1. Electrical System Design
- Develop and review:
o Single Line Diagrams (SLD)
o Load calculations, cable sizing, and voltage drop calculations
- Design and engineering of:
o MCC, PCC, and PLC panels
o Power distribution systems (LT/HT)
- Selection and application of:
o VFDs, soft starters, motors
2. Instrumentation Engineering
- Selection and specification of instruments:
o Flow meters, level transmitters, pressure transmitters
o Water quality analyzers (pH, turbidity, chlorine, etc.)
- Prepare:
o Instrument index, I/O list, datasheets
o Cable schedules and hook-up drawings
- Understanding of signal types:
o 4–20 mA, HART protocols
3. Engineering Coordination
- Coordinate with internal teams such as civil, mechanical,
and automation during design

- Ensure alignment of E&I; design with overall project requirements
- Collaborate with vendors for technical specifications and drawing reviews
4. Automation Interface
- Coordinate with SCADA/PLC teams for:
o I/O mapping
o Control panel design and integration
- Support signal philosophy and engineering alignment with automation systems
5. Standards, Quality & Safety
- Ensure compliance with:
o IEC standards
o Electrical design and safety regulations
- Follow best practices for system reliability, maintainability, and safety in design
6. Team Leadership
- Lead and mentor engineers and site teams
- Manage vendor interactions and technical discussions
Mandatory Skills
- Solid experience in Electrical & Instrumentation design (water/utility industry preferred)
- Tools AutoCAD / EPLAN
- Knowledge of LT/HT systems, MCC/PCC/PLC panels, Industrial instrumentation
- Familiarity with
