Key Responsibilities Strategy • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of the Bank's business strategy, operating environment and strategic priorities, and contribute to the delivery of the objectives of both the Legal and Business teams. Partner with stakeholders on key strategic initiatives, including the development of new products, services and processes, and the ongoing enhancement of existing business frameworks. Provide strategic, commercially focused legal advice to enable business growth while ensuring robust governance and proactive identification, assessment and management of legal risks arising from the Bank's activities in India. Business • Provide timely, practical and commercially focused legal support to the CIB and TB businesses in India, facilitating the achievement of business objectives within the Bank's risk appetite, legal and regulatory framework.



• Collaborate with colleagues across the Legal function and other control functions to deliver effective solutions on complex legal, regulatory and business matters impacting the Bank's operations in India. • Support the adaptation and implementation of global products, initiatives and documentation in India, ensuring consistency with Group standards while addressing local legal and regulatory requirements. • Work closely with Product, Business, Compliance, Operations, Documentation and other stakeholders to facilitate the launch of current products, processes and initiatives, and the enhancement of existing offerings.
