Key Responsibilities:

The candidate will be responsible for managing the complete purchase and procurement activities related to raw materials and consumables required for printing and packaging operations.

- Handle complete purchasing of paper, board, ink, plates, lamination materials, adhesives, packaging materials and other printing consumables.
- Prepare and manage raw material costing and job-wise cost calculations.
- Identify new vendors and maintain strong relationships with existing suppliers.
- Reach out to vendors and obtain quotations for required materials.
- Compare quotations, rates, quality, delivery timelines and payment terms.
- Negotiate with vendors to achieve the best possible price and commercial terms.
- Maintain vendor records, quotation history and updated material rate lists.
- Monitor market prices and fluctuations in raw material costs.
- Coordinate with the Production, Sales and Accounts teams for material requirements and costing.
- Ensure timely availability of materials to avoid production delays.
- Manage purchase orders and follow up with vendors regarding deliveries.




- Develop cost-saving strategies and improve procurement efficiency.

Candidate Requirements:

- Must have 2-5 years of experience in Purchase/Procurement, preferably in the Printing, Packaging Industry.
- Strong knowledge of paper quality, paper GSM, board, ink and other printing raw materials.
- Experience in vendor management, quotation comparison and price negotiation.
- Valuable understanding of raw material costing and purchase planning.
- Good communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel, Word, Email and online procurement processes.
- Ability to manage multiple vendors and material requirements efficiently.
