Role & responsibilities

1. Verify finished cylinders against Sales Orders and customer specifications before final release.

2. Ensure all proofs are produced on the correct substrate using the specified ink system. Validate proof accuracy against customer-approved references through visual inspection and, for spot colors, using X-Rite color measurement equipment.

3. Conduct physical inspection of cylinders and full proofs to identify any defects and ensure corrective actions are completed prior to approval.

4. Perform digital proof verification using software tools to confirm the accuracy of text, artwork elements, positioning, dimensions, and layout against customer-approved PDF files.

5. Prepare and maintain professional proof approval folders for customer presentation and record-keeping.

6. Monitor critical manufacturing process parameters across Electroplating, Engraving, Prepress, and Proofing operations through internal audit mechanisms to ensure process compliance and quality standards.

7. Investigate customer complaints by conducting root cause analysis using appropriate quality tools and implementing effective Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).

Track and evaluate the effectiveness of implemented corrective and preventive actions to ensure sustained improvements.

9. Promote quality awareness and quality culture among production and cross-functional teams.

10. Analyze internal rejections, identify trends, prepare reports, and recommend improvement actions to reduce defects and enhance process performance.

Preferred candidate profile

Required Qualifications

- Diploma in Printing Technology or a related field.

Experience

- 2 to 3 years of experience in Quality Assurance (QA) or Quality Control (QC) within the cylinder manufacturing industry or adaptable packaging industry.
- Hands-on experience in handling and resolving customer complaints.
- Knowledge of quality inspection processes, defect analysis, and corrective/preventive action implementation.
- Familiarity with quality standards and continuous improvement practices.
