Electronics Assembly & Testing Engineer

Job Purpose

We are looking for a technically skilled Electronics / Electrical Assembly & Testing Technician / Engineer responsible for the assembly, wiring, inspection, testing and basic troubleshooting of electronic and electrical products. The candidate should be capable of following Work Instructions (WI), SOPs, engineering drawings, wiring diagrams and approved test procedures while maintaining quality and production standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Assemble PCB/PCBA, SMPS, controllers, industrial PCs, displays, communication devices and other electronic modules as per drawings and Work Instructions.
- Perform AC/DC wiring, wire cutting, stripping, crimping, ferruling and termination.
- Install and connect MCBs, relays, contactors, power supplies, terminal blocks, switches, sensors and communication devices.
- Read and interpret BOMs, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, SOPs and assembly drawings.
- Conduct visual inspection, continuity, voltage, current, resistance and functional testing using DMM, clamp meters, power supplies and other test equipment.
- Verify communication interfaces such as Ethernet, USB, RS232 and RS485, where applicable.
- Identify wiring/assembly issues and perform basic troubleshooting, rework and repair.
- Maintain testing and production records and support QC, PDI,



FAT and final inspection activities.
- Follow ESD, electrical safety, PPE, 5S and production-floor discipline requirements.

Required Technical Skills

- Basic electronics and electrical fundamentals, including AC/DC voltage and current.
- PCB/PCBA handling, component identification and wire crimping/termination.
- Soldering and basic rework knowledge.
- Hands-on experience with multimeter and basic electrical test instruments.
- Ability to understand electrical wiring diagrams, Work Instructions and SOPs.
- Knowledge of SMPS, relays, contactors, MCBs, terminal blocks, connectors and sensors.
- Basic understanding of Ethernet, RS232, RS485 and ESD handling.

Preferred Experience

Experience in industrial electronics, industrial/Panel PC assembly, automation panels, battery manufacturing equipment, BESS/Energy Storage Systems, EMS/SCADA hardware, control panels or electronic equipment manufacturing will be an advantage.
