About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, responsible, and customer-focused Studio Executive to oversee the daily operations of our creative tufting studio. The Studio Executive will be responsible for managing studio operations, ensuring an exceptional customer experience, leading the studio team, achieving sales targets, and maintaining smooth workshop execution while upholding the brand standards of Go Rug Yourself.

Key Responsibilities

Studio Operations

- Manage the day-to-day operations of the studio efficiently.
- Ensure the studio is operational, well-maintained, clean, and organized at all times.
- Monitor inventor, materials, tools, and studio supplies.
- Coordinate with management regarding operational requirements and studio updates.
- Ensure all company SOPs and operational guidelines are followed.

Customer Experience

- Deliver an excellent and memorable experience to every customer visiting the studio.
- Guide customers through workshops and explain the tufting experience professionally.
- Handle customer queries, bookings, complaints, and feedback effectively.
- Maintain high standards of hospitality and customer engagement.

Sales & Business Performance

- Drive studio sales and achieve monthly revenue and booking targets.
- Promote workshops, products, and additional offerings to customers.
- Follow up on leads and convert enquiries into confirmed bookings.
- Prepare daily sales and performance reports for management.

Team Management

- Lead, motivate, and supervise studio executives, artists, helpers, and support staff.
- Prepare staff schedules and manage daily task allocation.
- Train current employees on customer service, studio processes, and company standards.
- Monitor employee attendance, discipline, and overall performance.

Workshop & Quality Management

- Ensure all workshops are conducted smoothly according to scheduled timelines.




- Monitor the quality of rugs produced during workshops.
- Ensure completed rugs are properly labelled, stored, and handed over as per process.
- Coordinate with customers regarding rug collection and delivery timelines wherever applicable.

Reporting & Administration

- Maintain accurate records of bookings, sales, expenses, inventory, and studio activities.
- Update all required information on company systems within defined timelines.
- Report operational issues, customer escalations, and maintenance concerns promptly.
- Assist management with audits, stock verification, and operational reviews.

- Interest in art, design, creativity, or experiential retail will be preferred.
- Proficiency in MS Office and basic reporting tools is desirable.

Qualifications & Experience

- Graduate in any discipline preferred.
- 0 to 5years of experience in retail, hospitality, boutique, studio, or customer experience management.
- Previous experience as a Store Manager, Studio Manager, Retail Manager, or similar leadership role will be an advantage.
- Candidates with a creative, artistic, fashion, interior, or design background will be preferred.

Qualifications & Experience

- Graduate in any discipline preferred.
- 0-5 years of experience in retail, hospitality, boutique, studio, or customer experience management.
- Previous experience as a Store executive, Studio Executive, Retail Manager, or similar role will be an advantage.
- Candidates with a creative, artistic, fashion, interior, or design background will be preferred.
