Job Summary

The role involves preparing high-quality coffee and specialty beverages, leading the barista team, maintaining operational and hygiene standards, and ensuring excellent customer service. The ideal candidate should have strong coffee knowledge, team handling experience, and the ability to manage rapid-paced café operations efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

1. Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, espresso-based beverages, teas, and specialty drinks as per brand SOPs
2. Ensure consistency in beverage quality, presentation, and customer experience standards
3. Handle coffee machine calibration, grinder settings, cleaning, and equipment maintenance
4.



Train new team members on beverage preparation, hygiene standards, and customer interaction
5. Monitor inventory levels for coffee beans, milk, syrups, disposables, and café supplies
6. Address guest queries, feedback, and complaints professionally to maintain service excellence
7. Ensure compliance with hygiene, food safety, and operational standards across the beverage station

- Eligibility CriteriaMinimum 2–4 years of experience as a Barista or Senior Barista in cafés, bakeries, or specialty coffee outlets
- Prior team handling or shift supervision experience preferred
- Good understanding of espresso extraction, milk texturing, latte art, brewing techniques, and café equipment handling
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in rotational shifts, weekends, and festive periods
- Basic inventory and stock management knowledge preferred
- Preferred QualificationsCertification in Barista Training / Specialty Coffee preferred
- Experience in premium café or bakery brands will be an added advantage
