Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced R2R / GL Accountant with hands-on experience in General Ledger accounting, reconciliations, intercompany accounting, fixed assets, accruals, and month-end closing activities. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely accounting and financial reporting.

The selected candidate will work at the client's office in Goregaon East, Mumbai, while being on the payroll of Ganesh Dalvi & Co. The role requires good accounting knowledge, attention to detail, analytical skills, and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders.

- Key ResponsibilitiesHandle day-to-day General Ledger (GL) and R2R accounting activities.
- Perform month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, provisions, and reclassifications.
- Perform balance sheet and account reconciliations.
- Handle intercompany accounting and reconciliations.
- Maintain and reconcile fixed assets, including additions, disposals, and depreciation.
- Review and clear open and outstanding items in GL accounts.
- Prepare monthly financial reports and supporting schedules.
- Ensure proper accounting documentation and adherence to internal processes.
- Coordinate with AP, AR, FP&A;, Tax,



Treasury, and other stakeholders.
- Support internal and statutory audits by providing required information and schedules.
- Assist in improving accounting processes and maintaining accurate financial records.
- RequirementsBachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–4 years of experience in R2R, GL Accounting, General Accounting, or a similar role.
- Hands-on experience in General Ledger accounting and reconciliations.
- Good understanding of month-end closing activities.
- Experience in intercompany accounting, fixed assets, accruals, and provisions.
- Valuable knowledge of basic accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel.
- Experience with any ERP/accounting software such as SAP, Oracle, Tally, Dynamics, NetSuite, or similar will be an advantage.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work within deadlines.
- Good communication and coordination skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team.
