Working closely with business stakeholders, engineering and UX, the role is responsible for translating complex problem spaces into well-defined, high-value outcomes and driving delivery teams toward meaningful business impact.

Responsibilities

- Stakeholder Partnership: Engage with business stakeholders to understand goals, workflows, and success criteria. Partner with Product Management and business stakeholders during discovery activities to help frame problems, validate assumptions and translate findings into actionable product requirements.
- Product Prioritization: Work closely with Product Management to refine MVP scope, define release priorities, manage backlog sequencing, and make informed trade-off decisions that maximize business value while supporting roadmap objectives.
- Backlog Ownership: Own and continuously prioritize the product backlog aligned to business outcomes.
- Requirement Definition: Translate business needs into epics, user stories, and Gherkin-style acceptance criteria.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, architecture, and UX to shape solutions and evaluate trade-offs.




- Risk Dependency Management: Identify risks, gaps, and dependencies early and drive timely resolution.
- Agile Delivery: Drive sprint ceremonies and ensure delivery teams remain unblocked.
- Release Validation: Support UAT, release planning, and post-launch validation.
- AI-Driven Productivity: Apply AI tools to accelerate PRDs, research, story drafting, and documentation, and identify opportunities to improve team throughput.

Qualifications

- Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related engineering field with 5+ years of experience in Product Ownership or Product Management OR MBA with 3+ years of experience in Product Ownership or Product Management or Business Analyst to Product role progression

Skills and Abilities

- Strong ability to structure ambiguous problems into prioritized, actionable backlogs.
- Expertise in writing PRDs, epics, user stories, and Gherkin-style acceptance criteria.
- Proficiency in product discovery techniques including user interviews, journey mapping, and problem framing.
- Hands-on experience using AI tools (Copilot, Claude, Cursor, etc) with demonstrated productivity gains in product workflows.
- Strong stakeholder management across business, engineering, architecture, and UX functions.
- Working knowledge of Agile/Scrum frameworks and scrum ceremonies.
- Proficiency with JIRA, Confluence, and equivalent backlog management tools.
