We are seeking a skilled Residential ArchiCAD Drafting Specialist to prepare high-quality residential architectural drawings. The ideal candidate will convert design concepts into accurate working drawings while ensuring compliance with Australian building standards and collaborating closely with the design team.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare detailed residential architectural drawings using ArchiCAD
Convert design concepts into precise and accurate working drawings
Ensure all documentation aligns with Australian residential building standards and codes
Coordinate with the design team to incorporate feedback, updates, and revisions
Maintain drawing accuracy, consistency, and timely project delivery
Organize and manage project documentation through backend systems such as Share Point
Communicate proactively with team members regarding project progress and updates.
Required Knowledge & Skills
Strong proficiency in ArchiCAD for residential drafting
Solid understanding of Australian residential building codes and standards
Ability to produce detailed construction documentation and architectural detailing
High attention to detail with solid coordination skills
Experience working in cooperative design environments
Good communication skills and responsiveness in a team setting.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience supporting Australian residential projects
Knowledge of documentation workflows and BIM (Building Information Modeling) practices
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
