Key Responsibilities

- Architecture & Design:

Design and implement 4G/5G control-plane protocols, including RRC, S1AP, X2AP, NGAP, F1AP, E1AP, and XnAP.

- Technical Leadership:

Guide and mentor engineers in root-causing L3 issues like attach failures, handover drops, security activation errors, and RRC resume/paging issues.

- Cross-Functional Execution:

Partner with verification, OAM, and core network teams on call-flow validation, negative testing, and interoperability campaigns.

- Program Leadership:

Drive large-scale L3 software delivery, product maintenance, and customer support for multi-variant RAN systems.

Required Qualifications

- Experience:

12+ years in 4G/5G L3 software development with leadership experience driving complex delivery programs.

- Core Protocols:





Deep expertise in 3GPP specifications for LTE (36.series) and 5G NR (38.series) L3 layers.

- Control-Plane Signaling:

Mastery over mobility control, bearer/session signaling, dual connectivity (EN-DC/NR-DC), cell reselection, RLF handling, and core-network coordination.

- Software Engineering:

Robust proficiency in C/C++, Python, state-machine design, memory pooling, and multi-threaded Linux environments.

- Data Path & Cloud:

Knowledge of GTP-U, DPDK, VPP, and containerization platforms (Docker, Kubernetes).

- Log Analysis & Tools:

Hands-on experience with Wireshark, QCAT, Viavi, Spirent Landslide, and IxLoad for trace-level triage
