– STAFF NURSE Position: Staff Nurse Key Responsibilities 1.

Patient

Care - Provide proper and compassionate nursing care to all patients.

- Assess patients’ basic health needs and report any concerns to the doctor.
- Monitor and record patients’ vital signs and treatment progress.
- Ensure patients are comfortable and properly guided throughout their visit.
- Treatment &
- Procedures - Assist doctors and the medical team during consultations and procedures.
- Prepare patients, treatment rooms, and required equipment before procedures.
- Follow all prescribed treatment protocols and nursing instructions.
- Administer medications and treatments as directed by the doctor.
- Maintain proper documentation of procedures and treatments. 3.

Patient

Communication - Communicate clearly and politely with patients and their attendants.
- Explain basic pre- and post-procedure instructions as advised by the doctor.
- Address patient concerns professionally and escalate medical concerns to the doctor when required.
- Maintain patient confidentiality at all times. 4.

Infection

Control &

• Safety - Follow proper infection-control and hygiene protocols.
- Maintain cleanliness and sterilization of instruments and treatment areas.
- Dispose of medical waste according to clinic protocols.
- Ensure all emergency and medical equipment is ready for use.
- Coordination &
- Teamwork - Coordinate effectively with doctors, reception, PRO, and other staff.




- Ensure smooth patient flow and minimize unnecessary waiting.
- Inform the concerned team about patient arrivals, procedures, follow-ups, and any changes in patient condition.
- Maintain skilled and respectful behavior with all staff and patients.
- Records &
- Stock Management - Maintain accurate patient and nursing records.
- Check availability of medicines, consumables, and procedure materials.
- Report shortages, damaged items, or expired medicines immediately.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of medical supplies.

General

Responsibilities - Be punctual, disciplined, and responsible for assigned duties.
- Follow clinic policies, procedures, and instructions from the management and medical team.
- Maintain a calm, professional, and patient-friendly environment.
- Take responsibility for assigned tasks and complete them without unnecessary delay.
- Maintain high standards of professionalism, hygiene, patient safety, and service quality.

Performance Expectations

The nurse is expected to demonstrate:

Pay: ₹17,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
