A Staff Nurse (Registered Nurse) provides direct clinical care, monitors patient health, administers treatments, and coordinates with the broader healthcare team.

Job Summary

- Position Title: Staff Nurse / Registered Nurse (RN)
- Reports To: Nurse Manager / Nursing Supervisor / Head Nurse
- Department: Clinical Nursing (Inpatient Ward, ICU, ER, OPD, Surgical Unit)

Core ResponsibilitiesCategoryKey DutiesDirect Patient Care Assess, record, and monitor patient vital signs and health status.

Administer prescribed medications, IV fluids, and treatments.

Perform wound dressing, catheterization, and blood sampling.

Clinical Documentation

Maintain accurate patient records and charts.

Document medication administration and clinical progress.

Handle shift handover reports to incoming nursing staff.

Patient Advocacy & Support

Assist patients with personal hygiene, mobility, and nutrition.

Educate patients and families on post-discharge care and medications.





Provide emotional support and ensure patient comfort and safety.

Emergency & Safety

Respond quickly to medical emergencies and cardiac arrests.

Maintain strict infection control, sterilization, and hygiene standards.

Operate standard medical equipment (ventilators, ECG machines, IV pumps).

Qualifications & Requirements

- Education: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (B.Sc Nursing) or Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM).
- Licensure: Valid registration with the relevant Nursing Council (e.g., State Nursing Council / Indian Nursing Council).
- Skills: Strong clinical assessment, critical thinking, compassionate communication, and high-stress composure.

Pay: ₹18,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
