Steward / Waiter – Café

Salary: ₹12,000 – ₹18,000 per month, depending on experience and skills

About the Role

We are looking for a friendly, energetic, and well-mannered Steward / Waiter to join our café team. The candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, taking orders, serving food and beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring a smooth dining experience for guests.

Key Responsibilities

- Welcome and assist customers in a polite and professional manner.
- Take food and beverage orders accurately and communicate them to the kitchen/bar team.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and professionally.
- Explain menu items and make recommendations to customers when required.
- Ensure tables are clean, properly set, and ready for customers.
- Check on customers during their visit and respond to their requests.
- Clear and reset tables efficiently.
- Coordinate with kitchen and café staff to ensure timely service.
- Handle customer feedback and escalate issues to the supervisor/manager.
- Follow café hygiene, cleanliness, and food-safety standards.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, stock movement, and general café operations when required.
- Maintain a neat, clean,



and presentable appearance at all times.

Requirements
- Previous experience as a Waiter, Steward, Captain, or Restaurant Service Staff is preferred.
- Freshers with a positive attitude and willingness to learn may also apply.
- Good communication and customer-service skills.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced restaurant/café environment.
- Must be punctual, disciplined, and reliable.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays.
- Basic English/Hindi/Telugu communication is an advantage.
