Job Summary

nWe are looking for an experienced Senior Storage Engineer / Storage SME responsible for the administration, engineering, monitoring, troubleshooting, performance optimization, and lifecycle management of enterprise storage infrastructure.

nThe candidate should have strong hands-on experience with NetApp, HPE Alletra, HSX Storage, Dell EMC Data Domain, and AWS FSx, along with good knowledge of SAN/NAS technologies, storage replication, backup, disaster recovery, and cloud storage.

nKey Responsibilities

- Administer and support enterprise storage platforms including:
n
- NetApp ONTAP
n
- HPE Alletra
n
- HSX Storage
n
- Dell EMC Data Domain
n
- AWS FSx / FSx for NetApp ONTAP
n
- Perform storage provisioning, volume/LUN creation, host mapping, capacity management, and storage expansion.
n
- Manage NAS and SAN environments using NFS, SMB/CIFS, iSCSI, and Fibre Channel.
n
- Configure and manage NetApp:
n
- SVMs
n
- Aggregates/storage pools
n
- Volumes and LUNs
n
- Snapshots
n
- SnapMirror
n
- FlexVol/FlexClone
n
- Replication and DR
n
- Manage HPE Alletra storage including volumes, hosts, protection policies, snapshots, replication, and performance monitoring.
n
- Administer Dell EMC Data Domain for backup storage, deduplication, replication, capacity management, and troubleshooting.
n
- Manage AWS FSx, particularly FSx for NetApp ONTAP, including SVMs, volumes, NFS/SMB shares, snapshots, replication, and performance/capacity management. AAWS Documentation

- Support hybrid connectivity and data movement between on-premises storage and AWS.
n
- Perform storage migrations, technology refreshes, firmware upgrades, and controller/storage expansions.
n
- Monitor storage capacity, latency, IOPS, throughput, utilization, and overall system health.
n
- Troubleshoot storage performance, connectivity, multipathing, replication, and availability issues.
n
- Participate in L2/L3 incident,



problem, and change management.
n
- Develop and maintain storage backup, retention, high-availability, and disaster-recovery solutions.
n
- Perform DR testing and validate replication/recovery procedures.
n
- Coordinate with vendors such as NetApp, HPE, Dell EMC, and AWS for critical incidents and escalations.
n
- Create operational documentation, architecture diagrams, SOPs, and troubleshooting procedures.
n
- Automate routine storage administration using PowerShell, Python, Bash, or storage CLI/API where applicable.
n
- Work closely with server, Linux/Windows, VMware, database, network, backup, security, and cloud teams.
