Role Description The Store Cashier role at 7 Course Mart is a full-time, on-site position based in Indore. In this role, the cashier handles customer transactions at the checkout, processes payments accurately, issues receipts, and ensures cash register balances at the end of each shift.

Daily responsibilities include greeting customers, answering basic product or price inquiries, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area. The cashier helps with bagging items, managing queues efficiently,



and communicating with store staff to resolve pricing or product issues. This role also involves following store policies, maintaining a courteous and professional demeanor, and supporting the overall customer experience on the sales floor as needed.

Qualifications

- Strong cash-handling skills, basic math ability, and familiarity with POS systems or digital payment methods.
- Customer service skills, including clear communication, patience, and a friendly, helpful approach to shoppers.
- Attention to detail for accurate billing, receipt handling, and adherence to store procedures and policies.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, manage a fast-paced workplace, and assist with light stocking or bagging tasks.
- Reliability in attendance, willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed, and a collaborative team mindset.
- Prior retail or cashier experience is preferred but not mandatory; basic secondary education is beneficial.
