ReceiptReceive construction materials such as cement, steel, RMC, tiles, plumbing, electrical and finishing materials as per PO/GRN and approved specifications.2.

InspectionCheck quantity, quality, specifications, physical condition and supporting documents at the time of receipt.3.

Inventory

ManagementMaintain accurate stock of all construction and site materials and ensure minimum/maximum stock levels are maintained.4.

Material

IssueIssue materials to authorized departments, contractors and site teams against approved material requisitions/indents.5.

Stock

RecordsMaintain updated stock registers, bin cards, inward/outward records and ERP entries on a daily basis.6.

Physical Stock

VerificationConduct regular physical stock counts and reconcile physical inventory with ERP/system records.7.

Material

StorageEnsure proper stacking, labeling and secure storage of materials to prevent damage, deterioration, theft and wastage.8.

Material Wastage

ControlMonitor material consumption and wastage and immediately report abnormal shortages or excess consumption.9.



ERP / DocumentationPrepare and maintain GRN, MRN, material issue slips, return notes, stock reports and other required documentation.10.

Purchase

CoordinationCoordinate with Purchase, Project and Accounts teams regarding material requirements, pending deliveries and shortages.11.

Site Material

PlanningTrack upcoming construction requirements and communicate material requirements to the concerned team in advance.12.

Contractor Material

ControlMaintain records of materials issued to contractors and ensure proper accounting and return of unused materials.13. Safety & HousekeepingMaintain a clean, organized and safe store area and follow all site safety and storage guidelines.14.

Material

ReturnRecord and verify unused, excess, damaged or rejected materials returned from site/contractors.15. ReportingSubmit daily/weekly/monthly stock, consumption, shortage and material movement reports to management.Key KPIs
