Job Responsibilities

Store Management

- Receive and inspect food, beverages, packaging materials, and other supplies.
- Maintain accurate daily stock records and inventory registers.
- Ensure proper storage, labeling, and arrangement of all items.
- Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) and monitor expiry dates.
- Issue materials to the kitchen and other departments based on requirements.
- Conduct regular physical stock verification and identify shortages or excess stock.
- Monitor wastage, damaged items, and expired products.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the store.

Purchase Management

- Identify purchase requirements based on stock levels and restaurant consumption.
- Prepare purchase orders and coordinate with suppliers.
- Source materials at competitive prices while maintaining required quality standards.
- Compare supplier quotations and negotiate prices and payment terms.
- Coordinate with suppliers regarding delivery schedules and shortages.
- Check quantity, quality, rates, and invoices when materials are received.




- Maintain supplier records and purchase documentation.
- Coordinate with the Chef, Kitchen, Accounts, and Management for purchase requirements.
- Ensure timely availability of essential food and non-food items.

Requirements
- Previous experience in Store Keeping and Purchase Management, preferably in a restaurant or hotel.
- Good knowledge of food and kitchen supplies.
- Knowledge of inventory control and purchase procedures.
- Basic computer knowledge and ability to maintain stock records.
- Good negotiation and supplier-management skills.
- Honest, responsible, and organized.
- Ability to work from 6:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
