STP Operator

Operate and monitor the Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) efficiently on a daily basis.

Ensure proper treatment of sewage as per required standards and procedures.

Monitor STP parameters such as pH, flow, chemical levels, sludge levels, and water quality.

Operate pumps, blowers, motors, filters, and other STP equipment.

Conduct regular inspections and identify any abnormalities or equipment issues.

Perform routine cleaning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of STP equipment.

Maintain proper records of plant operations, readings, chemical usage, and maintenance activities.

Ensure timely disposal and handling of sludge as per company procedures.

Maintain cleanliness and hygiene around the STP area.

Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and statutory requirements.

Report equipment breakdowns, leaks, unusual readings, or other issues to the concerned supervisor immediately.





Coordinate with the maintenance team for repairs and preventive maintenance.

Follow all safety procedures and company SOPs while handling equipment and chemicals.

Perform any other duties related to STP operations as assigned by the management.

Qualification & Experience:

ITI / Diploma in relevant technical field preferred.

Previous experience in STP/ETP operations will be an advantage.

Basic knowledge of pumps, motors, electrical equipment, and water-treatment processes.

Ability to work in shifts and handle routine operational responsibilities.
