Role Description The Structural Drafter will be responsible for preparing accurate structural and shop drawings, CAD plans, and detailing for steel, rebar, and connection designs based on engineering and architectural inputs. Day-to-day tasks include interpreting design specifications, coordinating with engineers and project managers, updating drawings based on review comments, and ensuring compliance with relevant standards and project requirements.

The role also involves maintaining organized drawing documentation, supporting BIM workflows where applicable, and collaborating with affiliated engineering teams to meet deadlines and quality expectations. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Surat.

Qualifications

- Ability to produce exact shop drawings and technical drawings for structural components.
- Experience working with architectural drawings and translating them into detailed structural layouts.




- Knowledge of structural engineering concepts and their application in drafting and detailing.
- Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) processes and tools.
- Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit or similar) and standard drafting practices.
- Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.
- Strong attention to detail, ability to follow instructions, and commitment to quality and accuracy.
- Effective communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
- Prior experience in structural or steel detailing for buildings and infrastructure is an advantage.
- Willingness to work on-site in Surat and manage multiple projects with tight timelines.
