Role Description The Supply Chain Manager is a full-time, on-site role based in Bengaluru North, responsible for overseeing end-to-end supply chain operations in a precision aerospace manufacturing setting. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing demand planning, coordinating procurement activities, and maintaining optimal inventory levels to support production schedules and on-time delivery.

The role involves evaluating supplier performance, negotiating contracts, and ensuring continuity of supply for critical materials and components.

The Supply Chain

Manager will collaborate closely with production, quality, engineering,



and logistics teams to align material flow with project timelines and customer commitments. This position also requires monitoring key performance metrics, identifying process improvements, and supporting compliance with aerospace industry standards and internal policies.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong demand planning skills with the ability to forecast requirements and align material availability with production and customer needs.
- Candidates should possess analytical skills to interpret data, optimize supply chain performance, and support data-driven decision-making.
- Candidates should possess supply management and procurement skills to source materials, manage suppliers, and negotiate contracts effectively.
- Candidates should possess inventory management skills to maintain appropriate stock levels, minimize shortages and excess, and ensure accurate records.
- Experience in aerospace, precision engineering, or manufacturing environments, with familiarity in working with diverse metals and high-spec components, is beneficial.
- Proficiency in ERP or supply chain management systems, and strong MS Excel or similar data analysis tools, is preferred.
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally in an on-site team setting.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, engineering, business, or a related field; relevant professional certifications (such as APICS/CSCP) are an advantage.
