System & Database Architect — (Short)

About the Role

We're looking for a system & database architect to manage our server infrastructure, web platforms, and databases—ensuring high availability, strong performance, and robust security across systems.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, configure & maintain SUSE/RHEL Linux and Windows servers, plus IIS/Apache web servers.
- Automate operations using Shell scripting and Python/PHP/Perl.
- Manage virtualization and cloud environments.
- Monitor systems/applications, troubleshoot bottlenecks, and coordinate fixes with developers.
- Handle OS hardening, vulnerability assessment, patching, and backup/redundancy strategies.
- Execute security directives from the Information Security team to mitigate cyber risks.
- Administer databases: access control, permissions, documentation, and performance/integrity checks.




- Build and test backup & disaster recovery plans.
- Manage storage capacity, redundancy, and health.

Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Linux (SUSE/RHEL) and Windows administration.
- Proficient in Shell scripting; working knowledge of Python/PHP/Perl.
- Experience with virtualization, cloud platforms, and database administration.
- Understanding of cyber security best practices (hardening, patching, vulnerability management).
- Strong troubleshooting and documentation skills.

Good to Have
- Bachelor's in CS/IT or related field.
- Certifications: RHCE, AWS/Azure, database certs (OCA/OCP, MCSA).

Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
