About the Role

Synterra IT Solutions is looking for a Talent Acquisition Associate (Tech) to support end-to-end recruitment for technical roles. This is a great opportunity for someone early in their HR/recruitment career to build hands-on experience in tech hiring within a fast-paced IT services environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Source candidates for technical roles (developers, QA) via job portals, LinkedIn, referrals, and campus channels

- Screen resumes and conduct initial phone/video screenings to assess technical fit and communication skills

- Coordinate interview scheduling between candidates and technical panels/hiring managers

- Maintain and update candidate pipelines in the ATS/tracking sheet

- Draft and post job descriptions across relevant platforms (Naukri, LinkedIn, Indeed, etc.)

- Manage candidate communication: updates, offer coordination, and a positive candidate experience throughout

- Support employer branding efforts (careers page updates, social media hiring posts, campus drives)

- Assist with offer rollout, documentation, and onboarding handoff to HR

- Track recruitment metrics (time-to-fill, source effectiveness, pipeline health)

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in B.E, B.Tech or related field (MBA/PGDM in HR is a plus)

- 0–2 years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition; internships in HR/recruiting will be considered

- Basic understanding of technical roles and terminology (willingness to learn tech stacks is essential)

- Solid communication and interpersonal skills

- Comfortable using job portals, LinkedIn Recruiter, and MS Excel/Google Sheets

- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple open positions at once

- Based in or willing to relocate to Mangalore for an on-site role

Good to Have

- Prior exposure to an ATS (Applicant Tracking System)

- Experience with campus recruitment or bulk/volume hiring

- Familiarity with IT/software industry hiring trends
