Find the People Who Will Help Change Lives.
What if recruitment wasn't just about filling positions?
At Lighthouse Communities Foundation, every person who joins our team contributes to creating better opportunities for young people from underserved communities.
We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Executive who can own the recruitment journey end-to-end — from finding the right talent and conducting interviews to building a strong candidate experience and helping new team members begin their journey with Lighthouse.
If you're someone who enjoys connecting with people, spotting potential, building relationships, and wants your recruitment work to contribute to meaningful social impact, we'd love to hear from you.
About Lighthouse Communities Foundation
Lighthouse Communities Foundation works in the area of skilling and livelihoods for underserved youth, with a vision of enabling socio-economic transformation.
Our Lighthouse model is built on a pioneering Public-Private Partnership (PPP) approach that brings together:
Government + Corporates + NGOs + Citizens + Communities The Government supports the Lighthouse centres through location and capital expenditure. Corporates contribute through CSR funding to support operational expenses, while NGOs and other partners contribute skilling and livelihood opportunities for young people.
With a strong presence across more than 400 of Pune's approximately 500 slum communities, the Lighthouse program has expanded to PCMC, Dombivali, Aurangabad, Delhi, Odisha, and Hyderabad.
Our work is driven by four core values:
Empathy | Inclusion | Integrity | Courage
About the Role
As a Talent Acquisition Executive, you will play a critical role in building the team that powers our mission.
You'll partner with hiring managers and internal teams to understand talent needs, source candidates, assess potential, coordinate interviews, support hiring decisions, and ensure a smooth onboarding experience.
You'll work across a range of roles and interact with candidates from diverse professional and social backgrounds.
The role requires someone who can balance:
Speed + Quality | Process + People | Hiring Needs + Mission Fit
We are looking for a recruiter who doesn't simply ask:
"Can this person do the job?"
But also asks
"Will this person connect with our mission, values, and the communities we serve?"
What You'll Do

Take ownership of the recruitment lifecycle for positions across the organization.
You will
- Understand hiring requirements from managers and teams.
- Clarify role expectations, competencies, and candidate profiles.
- Develop appropriate sourcing strategies for different roles.
- Source and engage potential candidates.
- Screen applications and shortlist relevant profiles.
- Conduct initial phone/video screenings and interviews.
- Coordinate interviews with hiring managers and interview panels.
- Track candidates throughout the recruitment process.
- Follow up with candidates and internal stakeholders.
- Support offer discussions and closure.
- Ensure positions are filled within agreed timelines while maintaining hiring quality.

- Leverage social media and professional networks for sourcing.
- Explore NGO and social-sector specific recruitment networks.
- Identify new and creative sourcing channels.
- Build and maintain relevant candidate pipelines.
- Proactively reach out to potential candidates.
- Engage passive candidates where appropriate.
- Experiment with different approaches to attract quality talent.
Your goal is to ensure that the right candidates discover Lighthouse — and want to be part of the journey. Screening & Interviewing
Be the first meaningful point of contact between many candidates and Lighthouse.
You will:
- Conduct initial phone screenings.
- Evaluate candidates against role requirements.
- Assess relevant experience, skills, communication, and motivation.
- Understand candidates' career aspirations and expectations.
- Assess alignment with Lighthouse's values and mission.
- Share structured feedback with hiring managers.

We believe recruitment should be about understanding potential, not just matching keywords on a CV. Create a Great Candidate Experience
Every interaction with a candidate shapes how they see the organisation.
You will:
- Communicate clearly and professionally with candidates.
- Keep candidates informed about interview stages and timelines.
- Respond to candidate queries.
- Ensure a respectful and inclusive recruitment experience.
- Maintain professionalism even when candidates are not selected.

Because even when someone doesn't join us today, they should leave the process with a positive impression of Lighthouse.
Support Onboarding
Your responsibility doesn't end when a candidate accepts an offer.
You will:
- Support the onboarding process for new hires.
- Coordinate with relevant teams to ensure joining formalities are completed.
- Help new employees understand the organisation and their next steps.
- Ensure new team members feel welcomed and supported.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders to enable a smooth transition into the organisation.

- Track candidate pipelines and hiring status.
- Update recruitment systems and trackers.
- Maintain candidate information systematically.
- Support recruitment reporting and hiring dashboards.
- Ensure appropriate handling of candidate information.

Lighthouse works with diverse communities — and our teams should reflect that diversity.
You will:
- Promote fairness and inclusion throughout the recruitment process.
- Proactively explore diverse talent pools.
- Encourage applications from candidates with different backgrounds and perspectives.
- Help reduce unconscious bias in the hiring process.
- Ensure candidates are evaluated fairly against role requirements and organisational values.
Build the Lighthouse Employer Brand Help candidates understand why Lighthouse is a place worth joining.
You will:
- Communicate the LCF mission, values, culture, and impact through recruitment.
- Support recruitment campaigns and employer-branding initiatives.
- Create compelling job-posting and candidate communication approaches.
- Highlight the opportunities for learning, growth, and social impact at Lighthouse.
