Role Description This is a full-time, in office Tally Accountant role based in Ahmedabad.

The Tally

Accountant will manage day-to-day accounting entries in Tally, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal vouchers.

Responsibilities include maintaining ledgers, reconciling bank and vendor accounts, preparing basic financial reports, and ensuring accuracy of GST and other statutory records. The role involves coordinating with internal teams for documentation, supporting audit and compliance activities,



and maintaining organized digital and physical records.

The Tally

Accountant will also assist in monitoring cash flows and providing timely accounting data for management decision-making.

Qualifications

- Strong proficiency in Tally ERP or Tally Prime, including day-to-day voucher entry and ledger management.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, including bookkeeping, bank reconciliation, and trial balance preparation.
- Knowledge of GST, TDS, and other statutory compliance requirements relevant to Indian accounting practices.
- Attention to detail, numerical accuracy, and ability to maintain clear, organized financial records.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other office productivity tools for reporting and data analysis.
- Ability to work on-site in Ahmedabad, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage deadlines effectively.
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Commerce, Finance, or a related field; professional certifications in Tally or accounting are an advantage.
- Prior experience in a manufacturing, trading, or agri-business environment is preferred but not mandatory.
