Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Tandoori Chef who can prepare high-quality tandoori and North Indian dishes while maintaining excellent taste, consistency, presentation, and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare a variety of Tandoori and North Indian dishes as per the menu.
- Handle and operate the tandoor safely and efficiently.
- Prepare items such as Tandoori Chicken, Chicken Tikka, Seekh Kebab, Malai Tikka, Paneer Tikka, Tandoori Paneer, Naan, Roti, and other tandoori breads.
- Prepare proper marinades, sauces, chutneys, and spice mixes.
- Ensure consistent taste, texture, portion size, and presentation.
- Manage daily mise-en-place and ensure timely food preparation.
- Check the quality and freshness of raw materials before use.
- Maintain proper temperature and cooking time for all tandoori items.
- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the tandoor and kitchen area.
- Follow food safety and sanitation standards.
- Minimize food wastage and maintain proper portion control.
- Coordinate with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.




- Maintain proper storage of ingredients and follow FIFO practices.
- Assist in developing and improving tandoori menu items when required.

Candidate Requirements
- Experience: 2–5 years as a Tandoori Chef or relevant position.
- Strong knowledge of Tandoori and North Indian cuisine.
- Good knowledge of marinades, spices, grilling, roasting, and tandoor cooking techniques.
- Ability to prepare both vegetarian and non-vegetarian tandoori dishes.
- Knowledge of food hygiene and safety standards.
- Ability to work efficiently during busy hours.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Should be punctual, disciplined, and responsible.
- Hotel Management / Culinary qualification will be an added advantage.

Preferred Candidate A hands-on Tandoori Chef with strong knowledge of tandoor operations who can independently manage tandoori preparation while maintaining excellent taste, quality, hygiene, and presentation. Work Location: Mohali, Punjab

Salary: Rs.20,000 to Rs. 22,000/- per month

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹22,000.00 per month
