Role Description The Teaching Assistant role at Sunstone is a full-time, in office position based in Coimbatore.

The Teaching

Assistant will support faculty in delivering academic content, assist in classroom management, and help facilitate engaging learning sessions.

Responsibilities include guiding students through coursework, clarifying concepts, and providing additional support in subjects such as mathematics and related disciplines. The role also involves monitoring student progress, preparing learning materials, coordinating small group activities, and maintaining a positive and inclusive classroom environment.

The Teaching

Assistant will collaborate with educators and staff to ensure students receive consistent academic and personal support aligned with Sunstone’s employability-focused approach.

Qualifications

- Candidates should possess strong Assistant Teaching and Education skills, with experience supporting instructors and facilitating learning.




- Candidates should possess clear and effective Communication skills to interact with students, faculty, and staff.
- Candidates should possess proficiency in Mathematics and related academic subjects to assist with course delivery and student queries.
- Candidates should possess skills in Working With Children or young adult learners, with the ability to foster an encouraging and respectful learning environment.
- Relevant academic background in Education, Mathematics, or a related field; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
- Ability to work on-site in Coimbatore on a full-time schedule and collaborate in a multidisciplinary academic setting.
- Strong organizational skills, patience, and a learner-centric mindset; prior experience in a teaching or tutoring role is an advantage.
