Role Description This is a full-time Team Leader role focused on PLC, drive, servo, and SCADA systems, based in the Greater Chennai Area with a hybrid work model that allows some work-from-home flexibility. The team leader will oversee design, programming, testing, and commissioning of automation solutions, ensuring that PLC logic, drive configurations, servo controls, and SCADA screens meet project requirements and industry standards. Day-to-day responsibilities include leading a technical team, assigning tasks, reviewing engineering documentation, troubleshooting system issues, and supporting on-site installations and maintenance activities.

The role involves coordinating with clients and internal stakeholders, preparing technical reports, maintaining project timelines, and ensuring adherence to safety and quality procedures. The team leader will also mentor team members,



support skills development, and contribute to continuous improvement in automation processes and tools.

Qualifications

- Strong expertise in PLC programming, configuration, and troubleshooting for industrial automation applications.
- Hands-on experience with drive systems and servo controls, including parameter setting, tuning, and integration with PLCs.
- Proficiency in SCADA development and HMI design, including data acquisition, visualization, and alarm management.
- Ability to lead and manage technical teams, allocate resources, and oversee project execution from concept to commissioning.
- Solid understanding of industrial control systems, electrical panels, instrumentation, and safety standards.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose complex automation issues and implement effective solutions.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for interacting with clients, suppliers, and cross-functional internal teams.
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or related engineering field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Willingness to travel to client sites within the Greater Chennai Area and occasionally beyond for commissioning and support.
- Experience in industrial automation project management, documentation, and compliance with relevant industry regulations is an advantage.
