About The Job As a ServiceNow Technical Lead, you will be responsible for leading the technical design, development, customization, and implementation of ServiceNow applications and solutions. You will work closely with business stakeholders and development teams to understand requirements, design scalable solutions, and deliver robust ServiceNow applications aligned with customer coding standards and architectural best practices.

The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience across ServiceNow ITSM, CMDB, Discovery, Software Asset Management (SAM), and Hardware Asset Management (HAM), along with expertise in custom application development, ServiceNow scripting, integrations, and technical leadership.

Responsibilities

- Lead the technical design and development of ServiceNow applications, modules, custom applications, and integrations.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to ServiceNow development teams.
- Work with business stakeholders to understand requirements and design solutions that meet business needs.
- Develop, configure, and customize ServiceNow applications, workflows, and modules.
- Ensure solutions are scalable, efficient, secure, and aligned with organizational architecture and coding standards.
- Develop and implement testing strategies to ensure the quality and reliability of ServiceNow solutions.
- Conduct thorough testing of ServiceNow applications and integrations before deployment.




- Identify opportunities for process optimization, automation, and adoption of new ServiceNow capabilities.
- Maintain technical documentation for ServiceNow applications and integrations.
- Provide technical training and support to end users and development teams.
- Develop and maintain ServiceNow configurations including business rules, client scripts, UI policies, ACLs, workflows, roles, groups, and application components.
- Work with ServiceNow Discovery capabilities including patterns, probes, sensors, schedules, and credential-based/credential-less Discovery.
- Work with ServiceNow MID Server, Pattern Designer, and Service Graph Connector.
- Develop integrations using ServiceNow workflows, scripting, web services, and REST APIs.
- Integrate ServiceNow applications with third-party and cloud applications.
- Communicate effectively with customers and stakeholders and provide regular updates on technical solutions and delivery.

Requirements

- 8-10 years of experience working with ServiceNow, including development, customization, administration, and implementation.
- Strong hands-on experience with ServiceNow ITSM, CMDB, Discovery, Software Asset Management (SAM), and Hardware Asset Management (HAM).
- Hands-on experience building and implementing Custom Applications in ServiceNow.
- Strong expertise in Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Scripts, UI Pages, UI Macros, UI Policies, ACLs, and Workflow Activities.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, and ServiceNow Glide APIs.
- Experience creating, configuring, and customizing patterns, Discovery schedules, event rules, application fields, business rules, client scripts, user roles, groups, and access controls.
- Experience creating and maintaining custom patterns, probes, sensors, and schedules for ServiceNow Discovery.




- Understanding of credential-based and credential-less Discovery.
- Experience with ServiceNow plugins and capabilities including MID Server, Pattern Designer, and Service Graph Connector.
- Experience developing integrations using workflows, scripting, web services, and REST APIs.
- Experience integrating ServiceNow applications with third-party and cloud applications.
- Good understanding of ITIL framework and IT Operations Management concepts.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow best practices, coding standards, and documentation.
- Strong customer-facing and communication skills.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Enthusiasm to learn and implement new ServiceNow features and capabilities.
- ServiceNow CSA and CAD certifications.
