Job Title: Technical Assistant /n Location: Andheri, Mumbai /n Reporting To: Head of Technical /n Job Summary: /n We are looking for a Technical Assistant to support our technical team in managing vessel operations, maintenance, and compliance. This role is ideal for a Marine Engineer —including fresh graduates—who is keen to develop a career in ship management and technical operations. /n Key Responsibilities: /n /n

- Assist the technical team in monitoring the performance, maintenance, and repairs of vessels.

/n

- Maintain and update technical records, reports, and documentation related to vessel operations.

/n

- Support in procurement of spares, stores, and consumables for vessels.

/n

- Assist in coordinating dry-docking, surveys, and inspections with relevant stakeholders.

/n

- Help ensure vessels comply with class, flag state, and regulatory requirements (IMO, SOLAS, MARPOL, etc.).

/n

- Analyze vessel performance data and prepare basic technical reports for management.

/n

- Coordinate with ship crew, vendors,



and classification societies for technical matters.

/n

- Assist in maintaining Planned Maintenance System (PMS) and other operational databases.

/n /n Qualifications & Skills: /n /n

- Engineering degree (B.E./B.Tech in Marine Engineering) or equivalent.

/n

- Fresher or up to 2 years of experience in ship management or related field.

/n

- Solid understanding of ship operations, machinery, and maintenance practices.

/n

- Proficiency in MS Office and technical documentation tools.

/n

- Good analytical, communication, and coordination skills.

/n

- Passion for learning and developing a career in technical ship management.

/n /n Preferred Qualifications: /n /n

- Cadetship or onboard training experience (preferred but not mandatory).

/n

- Familiarity with technical management software (PMS, ERP, etc.) is a plus.
