Technical Consulting / Professional Services

We are looking for an experienced Technical Consultant who can bridge deep hands-on engineering skills with client-facing consulting. You will design, build, and troubleshoot Node.js/Java Script solutions,

work across relational and No SQL databases, and support IT Service Management (ITSM) processes for enterprise clients. This role suits someone comfortable moving between writing code, advising stakeholders, and resolving production issues under an ITSM framework (incident, problem, and change management).

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Node.js and Java Script (ES6+). Work directly with client/business stakeholders to gather requirements, propose technical solutions, and present recommendations.

- Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and data models across relational (e.g.,

Postgre SQL, My SQL, Oracle) and/or No SQL (e.g., Mongo DB) systems.

- Support and improve ITSM processes — incident, problem, change, and request management —

using tools such as Service Now, BMC Remedy, or Jira Service Management.

- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, performing root-cause analysis and driving permanent fixes.

Write clean, tested, well-documented code and participate in code reviews. Integrate third-party APIs and internal services; ensure secure, scalable, and maintainable architecture.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Dev Ops, QA, product, and support) across the delivery lifecycle.
- Prepare technical documentation, runbooks, and knowledge-base articles for support and client teams.
- Mentor junior consultants/engineers and contribute to technical best practices within the team.





Required Skills & Qualifications

- 4-8 years of overall IT experience, with strong hands-on expertise in Node.js and

Java Script/Type Script.

- Solid experience with at least one relational database (SQL Server, Postgre SQL, My SQL, Oracle)

and exposure to No SQL databases (Mongo DB, etc.).

- Working knowledge of ITSM frameworks/processes (ITIL preferred) and hands-on experience with an ITSM tool (Service Now, BMC Remedy, Jira Service Management, or similar).

Experience building and consuming REST/Graph QL APIs. Familiarity with version control (Git) and CI/CD pipelines. Strong understanding of software design principles, debugging, and performance tuning. Excellent communication skills — able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

Experience in a client-facing or consulting role is strongly preferred. Customer onboarding experience — guiding new clients through implementation and adoption.

Experience with any ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) tool or process. System administration experience with popular Saa S products such as Service Now, Jira, or Salesforce.

Proven ability to troubleshoot application performance and reliability issues. Well versed with security best practices in the application operations space. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

Positive to Have

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes). Exposure to frontend frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue). ITIL Foundation certification. Experience with monitoring/observability tools (e.g., Grafana, Splunk, Dynatrace). through technical design and implementation, to production support under ITSM discipline. Strong ownership, curiosity, and the ability to work independently in ambiguous situations are essential.
