We are looking for an enthusiastic and target-oriented Telecalling Executive to join our online Study Abroad team.
The candidate will be responsible for connecting with students who are interested in studying abroad, understanding their requirements, explaining our services, and converting qualified leads into counselling sessions and enrolled students.
Key Responsibilities
- Call and connect with students/leads interested in studying abroad.
- Understand students' academic background, budget, preferred country, course and intake.
- Explain available study-abroad programs, universities and admission processes.
- Generate and qualify leads through outbound and inbound calls.
- Schedule counselling sessions with the senior counsellor/consultant.
- Follow up regularly with interested students through calls and WhatsApp.
- Maintain accurate records of leads, conversations and follow-ups in CRM/Excel.
- Convert warm leads into counselling appointments and ultimately student enrollments.
- Handle basic queries related to IELTS/PTE/TOEFL, university applications, admissions and visas.
- Coordinate with the counselling and application-processing team.
- Meet daily/weekly/monthly calling and conversion targets.
- Maintain a professional relationship with students throughout the admission journey.
Candidate Profile
- Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi.
- Marathi communication will be an added advantage.
- Confident and comfortable speaking with students and parents over the phone.
- Good persuasion and follow-up skills.
- Target-oriented and motivated by sales/conversions.
- Basic knowledge of MS Excel/Google Sheets and WhatsApp.
- Prior experience in telecalling, inside sales, education counselling or study-abroad sales is preferred.
- Freshers with excellent communication skills can also apply.
