Role Description:

The GeM Tender Manager will manage the company’s GeM activities, including identifying relevant tenders, preparing and submitting bids, and tracking tender status. The role involves coordinating with internal teams for pricing, documentation, products, and delivery, ensuring compliance with GeM guidelines. Responsibilities also include monitoring opportunities, handling buyer queries, maintaining tender records, and supporting post-award execution.

Qualifications:

- Strong analytical skills to evaluate tender requirements, pricing structures, and sales performance on GeM.
- Business planning capabilities to develop bidding strategies, sales forecasts, and market expansion plans within government procurement.
- Effective communication skills for coordinating with internal stakeholders and interacting with government buyers and officials.




- Customer service skills to manage buyer queries, resolve issues promptly, and maintain long-term government client relationships.
- Experience in sales operations, including order processing, documentation, and follow-through from tender award to delivery.
- Prior experience with GeM or government tenders, preferably in apparel or FMCG, is highly beneficial.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and other productivity tools for reporting, data analysis, and documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Commerce, Management, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Ability to work in office in Surat, manage multiple tenders simultaneously, and meet strict deadlines with attention to detail.
