Job Title: TEST ARCHITECT - Quality Engineering

As a Test Architect in the Quality Engineering team at Happiest Minds, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining effective testing strategies and frameworks that ensure the delivery of high-quality software solutions. You will collaborate closely with development teams to understand requirements and develop test plans, validation strategies, and automated testing processes.

Your role will also involve mentoring team members, evaluating new testing tools and technologies, and leading initiatives to improve testing efficiency and effectiveness across projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and implement comprehensive test strategies for various applications and platforms.

- Design and oversee the implementation of automated test frameworks and architectures.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify testing requirements and establish best practices.

- Lead efforts to optimize testing processes and reduce time-to-market without compromising quality.

- Mentor and provide guidance to the testing team in coding, testing methodologies, and best practices.

- Stay updated with industry trends and advancements in testing tools and technologies to enhance the testing strategy.

- Review and analyze project specifications to develop targeted test cases and scenarios.

- Perform risk analysis and identify potential issues that could impact the quality of software products.

- Evaluate third-party tools and frameworks and recommend solutions that fit project needs.





- Ensure compliance with quality standards and contribute to quality assurance initiatives.

Skills And Tools Required

- Extensive experience in software testing and quality assurance methodologies.

- Proficiency in test automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, or similar.

- Strong knowledge of programming languages such as Java, Python, or C#.

- Experience with continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) tools like Jenkins, TeamCity, or Bamboo.

- Familiarity with load testing tools such as JMeter or LoadRunner.

- Ability to create and review test plans, test cases, and test scripts.

- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.

- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

- Previous experience in leading testing initiatives or managing testing teams is preferred.

- Knowledge of performance testing and security testing concepts is a plus.
