Required Skills

- Jacquard Design Development

- Experience with EAT or similar jacquard-design software

- Good understanding of weave structures and fabric construction

- Robust sense of colour, motifs, textures, repeats and textile trends

- Ability to develop technically feasible, production-ready designs

- Knowledge of Photoshop or Illustrator will be an advantage

- Good communication, inter department-coordination and time-management skills

Key Responsibilities

- Develop innovative jacquard designs based on market trends and customer requirements.

- Create and modify motifs, textures, colourways and repeat patterns.

- Convert creative concepts and references into production-ready designs.

- Prepare designs for Staubli Jacquard, Dobby and other weaving machines.

- Work with different weave structures, yarn counts, densities and fabric constructions.

- Coordinate with sampling, weaving, production and merchandising teams.

- Review woven samples and make corrections before bulk production.

- Develop commercially viable collections within specified timelines.

- Maintain an organised digital library of designs and developments.
