Job Summary

Seth M. R. Jaipuria School, Sahaswan is looking for a passionate, qualified and experienced TGT Computer Teacher to join our academic team. The candidate should have strong subject knowledge, excellent communication skills and the ability to make computer education practical, engaging and relevant for students.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver engaging and effective Computer Science/Computer Applications lessons as per the CBSE/NCERT curriculum.
- Teach computer-related subjects to students of Classes VI–X.
- Develop students' understanding of programming, computational thinking, digital literacy and problem-solving.
- Teach relevant topics such as Python/programming, HTML, databases, computer networks, cyber safety, AI and emerging technologies, as applicable to the school curriculum.
- Conduct practical sessions and ensure effective utilisation of the Computer Lab.
- Use innovative, activity-based and technology-enabled teaching methodologies.
- Prepare lesson plans, worksheets, assignments, projects, practical activities and question papers.
- Conduct regular assessments and provide constructive feedback to students.
- Prepare students effectively for CBSE examinations and school assessments.
- Maintain discipline and create a positive, technology-friendly classroom environment.
- Guide students in computer projects, presentations, coding activities, exhibitions and competitions.
- Encourage students to participate in coding, robotics, AI and technology-based activities.
- Maintain computer lab discipline, safety and proper utilisation of equipment.




- Keep updated with emerging technologies and incorporate relevant digital tools into teaching.
- Maintain academic records and student performance data.
- Communicate with parents regarding students' academic progress when required.
- Participate in PTMs, staff meetings, teacher training programmes and school events.
- Collaborate with other teachers and the academic team to enhance students' overall learning experience.

Eligibility & Qualifications
- B.Tech / B.E. / B.Sc. Computer Science / BCA / MCA / M.Sc. Computer Science or other relevant qualification from a recognised institution.
- B.Ed. is preferred/required as applicable to the post and CBSE norms.
- Robust knowledge of computer science and programming concepts.
- Good command of English communication.
- Proficiency in digital teaching tools and educational technology.
- Ability to effectively manage computer lab and practical sessions.

Experience
- Minimum 2–3 years of teaching experience in a reputed CBSE school preferred.
- Experience teaching Classes IX–X will be an added advantage.
- Candidates with experience in Python, coding, AI, robotics or computer applications will be preferred.
- Freshers with excellent subject knowledge and strong teaching aptitude may also be considered.
