Role Description The Tour Coordinator is a full-time, on-site role based in Srinagar, responsible for planning, organizing, and overseeing tours and travel packages offered by Apex Tour and Travels. Day-to-day tasks include coordinating itineraries for Umrah and Hajj packages, domestic and international tours, and customized group and solo trips, ensuring all travel components such as transportation, accommodations, and activities are accurately booked and confirmed. The role involves handling customer inquiries, providing detailed tour information, resolving issues, and offering proactive support before, during, and after travel.

Coordinator will collaborate with suppliers, guides, and internal teams, manage reservations and documentation, and maintain accurate records in booking systems. This position also supports sales efforts by presenting packages to potential clients, following up on leads, and contributing to a high-quality customer experience.

Qualifications

- Tour operations and guided tours skills, including planning, coordinating, and managing group and individual itineraries.
- Robust customer service and communication abilities to handle inquiries, provide clear information, and resolve concerns professionally.
- Event management and organizational skills to oversee tour logistics, schedules, and on-ground coordination.
- Sales and negotiation skills to present tour packages, convert leads, and maintain positive relationships with clients and partners.
- Proficiency with basic computer applications and booking systems; comfort working with online travel platforms and documentation.
- Knowledge of domestic and international travel processes, including visas, accommodations, and flight arrangements.
- Ability to work on-site in Srinagar, manage multiple tasks, and remain calm and solution-oriented in time-sensitive situations.
- Relevant education in tourism, hospitality, business, or a related field is preferred; prior experience in travel, tours, or hospitality is an advantage.
