Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Travel Sales Consultant role based in Jaipur.

The Travel Sales

Consultant will engage with prospective and existing travelers to understand their preferences, recommend suitable itineraries, and convert inquiries into confirmed bookings.

Responsibilities include managing end-to-end travel arrangements, handling reservations, and coordinating with internal teams and external partners to ensure smooth trip execution. The role involves providing responsive customer service, addressing traveler questions before, during, and after their journeys, and maintaining accurate records of bookings and client interactions.



The consultant will also contribute to sales targets, participate in promotional activities, and represent Desh Ghumo’s values of inclusivity, authenticity, and traveler-centric experiences.

Qualifications

- Strong Travel Consulting skills with the ability to understand traveler needs and recommend personalized journey options.

- Experience in Travel Management and overseeing end-to-end trip planning and coordination.

- Proficiency in handling Travel Arrangements, including accommodations, transport, and activity bookings.

- Excellent Customer Service capabilities, with a focus on responsiveness, empathy, and transparent communication.

- Hands-on experience with Reservations systems and processes, including booking, modifications, and cancellations.

- Good spoken and written communication skills in English; knowledge of Hindi and other regional languages is an advantage.

- Proven sales or client-facing experience in travel, hospitality, or related sectors preferred.

- Comfort working with digital tools, CRM platforms, and online travel booking systems.

- Ability to work on-site in Jaipur, collaborate with a diverse team, and adapt to a fast-paced, traveler-focused environment.

- Diploma or degree in Travel, Tourism, Hospitality, Business, or a related field is beneficial.
